All scratches are not the same.

If the defect is a deeper scratch that can be felt with your fingernail, then it extends below the surface of the paint and into the primer. Sometimes one end of the scratch looks fine but the other end gets deeper and deeper until it breaks through into the primer and the metal underneath.

Hard Water Removal

Calcium, magnesium & mineral deposits, often found in sprinklers, can ruin your paint finish if not removed promptly. They will etch your finish rather quickly and could become permanent microscopic indentations in the finish. Eventually, you will begin to see your clear coat weakening. Again, immediate action is necessary.
